Memorial Action Against Feminicide

In collective grief and remembrance, we honour the women killed in Germany in 2026 by (ex-)partners and other family members. The action makes visible that feminicides are not tragic isolated incidents, but an expression of deeply rooted patriarchal structures.

All women are welcome to join – no prior experience needed. Materials are provided.

Once a month on Saturdays, 2.30 – 5.30 pm Naunynstraße 73, 10997 Berlin

StoP Fundbuch – being creative together and sharing stories!

In a safe and welcoming atmosphere, we create pages for a “Fundbuch” using images, words, and various materials. We explore our wishes, our experiences, and what matters to us. We share, listen to one another, and strengthen each other.

We are happy to join existing women's groups in family centres and neighbourhood meeting points. Feel free to get in touch!

StoP Benches in (Semi-)Public Spaces

StoP benches make a visible statement against partner violence in the neighbourhood. They show: we don't look away, we look out for one another, and we stand in solidarity with those affected. If you would like to make a statement with a StoP bench in a public space or at your venue, and are interested in taking on responsibility for a bench, please get in touch. Together we will organise a StoP bench event with the neighbourhood. StoP benches can already be found at Alfred-Döblin-Platz, Böcklerpark, on the grounds of the Möckernkiez housing cooperative, at Mehringplatz, on Jahnstraße, at MGH Gneisenaustraße, in the NHU Nachbarschaftsgarten, at the Kreuzberger Stadtteilzentrum, at Südstern near the Bürgergenossenschaft, at the AWO Begegnungszentrum on Adalbertstraße, F1 Familienzentrum, at the Kreativhaus on Fischerinsel, at the RuDi Nachbarschaftshaus in Friedrichshain, and at the NHU.

StoP Raises Awareness Among Multipliers

StoP informs multipliers from social institutions about approaches to partner violence prevention. In our 3-hour sessions, we discuss where partner violence begins, how warning signs can be recognised, and how those affected can be approached with sensitivity. The training sessions offer accessible knowledge on prevention, available support, and possible courses of action in everyday life.

What is StoP? In brief:

StoP – "Stadtteile ohne Partnergewalt" (Neighbourhoods Free from Partner Violence) – supports people in the neighbourhood who want to show civil courage and stand in solidarity with women affected by partner violence. StoP has been active in various districts across several German cities since 2010. Partner violence/domestic violence occurs every day – across all levels of society. Women are disproportionately affected. Partner violence destroys the health and lives of everyone involved. The problem is that we talk about it too rarely – whether out of shame, fear, or uncertainty. Or because we believe it is a private matter.

But violence is not a private matter; it is a violation of human rights.

We use the terms women/girls without * and include all people who identify as women or are read as female. We understand partner violence to mean violence by people read as male, perpetrated by current or former relationship partners. It is most commonly carried out in the domestic sphere, often systematically over a prolonged period of time.
